RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA — Building on over four decades of successful collaboration, Alkhorayef Group and Zodiac Milpro have officially entered a new phase of their partnership with the signing of a letter of intent to establish a joint manufacturing facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The signing ceremony took place during the World Defense Show.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, CEO of Alkhorayef Commercial, and Mr. David Cazalot, Commercial Director of Zodiac Milpro International. This strategic initiative, which aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives for localization of military industries, has the full support of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), as represented by Deputy Governor Mr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Athel.
This joint venture marks a pivotal expansion to meet the increasing demand for Zodiac Milpro’s boats and services within the Kingdom. The proposed facility is set to become a central hub for local production, focusing on two key areas:
- Production: The facility will manufacture high-quality Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and other specialized crafts, catering to the professional, defense, and luxury markets in Saudi Arabia and the broader region.
- Support Services: It will also provide comprehensive maintenance, overhaul, and support services, ensuring the sustained performance and durability of Zodiac Milpro’s products for all regional clients.
With the company now operational, both entities reaffirm their commitment to enhancing the Kingdom’s domestic capabilities, driving economic growth, and contributing to national security.
